BLIND HORSE'S VICTORY

A blind horse was steered to victory at Vinconnes trotting track in Paris recently by a driver who himself is short-sighted. The horse was tho four-year-old If You Please, and the driver M. X. Bernardin. Between them they won the Prix do Pithiviers from 15 other horses by nearly 3sec. In spite of tho fact that he is blind, the horse had shown useful form in previous races. He started favourite at 7 to 2 egainst.
