PANMURE UNEMPLOYED
WORK TO SUSTENANCE Following the dismissal of about 25 relief workers employed in the Panmure district a telegram was sent by Mr. W. J. Jordan, M.P.' for Manukau, to the Minister of Employment, Hon. A. Hamilton, complaining against the men being reduced from relief wages to sustenance. A reply has been received from the Minister requesting full particulars of the case and the names of the men affected in order that inquiries may be made.
