WEDDING

LIVING—LAMB The marriage was celebrated at the Baptist Tabernacle, Upper Queen Street, last evening of Miss Emma Lilian Lamb, elder daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A. S. J. Lamb; Pencarrow Avenue, Mount Eden, to Mr. John Frederick laving, younger son of Mr. and Mrs. G.' Living, Wellington. The Rev. J. .J. North officiated, and Mr. A. Wilson played the wedding music. The church was beautifully decorated by Mrs. L. Clark, and a number of girl friends with white Belladonna lilies, tiger lilies and autumn-tinted cannas. The bride, who was given away by her father, was a charming figure in a magnolia satin frock cut on princess lines. Tlie corsage was made of quilted chiffon, and the long, square-cut train of satin . falling gracefully from the waistline Was quilted at the lower edge, matching the circular quilted sleeves. Her hand-embroidered net veil was held in place, with a halo band of tulle and tiny orange buds. She carried a bouquet of magnolia-tinted begonias. In attendance as bridesmaids were Miss Doreen Lamb, sister of the bride, and Miss Phyllis Gash, cousin of the bride, and acting as flower girls and page were two nieces of the bride. Beverley and Nerole Lamb and Master Graham Lamb, a nephew. The two bridesmaids wore frocks of smoke-white crepe, cut 'diagonally and slightly trained. Iho waistlines were finished with pannier cashes in two shades of apricot. They wore the new corded halo head-dresses in apricot shades, and carried bouquets of autumn-shaded begonias and autumn leaves. The little (lower girls were in hailstone not frocks with short ptilf sleeves niul apricot corded sashes. Wreaths of apricot begonias wero worn round their heads and round balls of autumn-tinted flowers were attached to the wrists. The small page was dressed in a suit of smoke-white sand crepe with net ruffles, and an octagonal hat The bridegroom was attended by Mr. Oouglas Living as best'Dian and Mr. Keith Lamb as groomsman. Following the ceremony, a largely-attended reception was held in the Milne and Choyce reception hall. Mrs. Lamb received her guests wearing a graceful frock of Burgundy lace inset with panels of tucked georgette. Her hat was of Burgundy velvet and she carried a bouquet of gerbcras in tonings of pale petunia and beige. Mrs. Living, the bridegroom's mother, was in black lace over black and white georgette, and a black velvet hat. She carried a bouquet of violets and maidenhair fern.
