FINES IN THE NORTH V/ARNING BY MAGISTRATE [by telegraph—own correspondent! WHANGAKEI, Tuesday In the Magistrate's Court yesterday the charge against Messrs. Timewell and "King;, Ltd., TVhangarei, and Thomas Ellis Riponui, for falling to keep their land clear of ragwort was again before the Court. The case was adjourned last 'Court day to enable the inspector, Mr. E>. A, McKinlay, again to inspect the property, and he reported favourably on the work of eradication since carried out. Tlid magistrate, Mr. G. N. Morris, in fining each defendant 10s, and costs 10s, Baid: "I want to make it known, that any similar charges from now on will be "dealt with more severely.
