MARYLEBONE TEAM EARTHQUAKE FUND MATCH (Received March 5, 5.5 p.m.) CALCUTTA, March 4 In a three days' .charity cricket match in Bombay to-day to aid the Bihar earthquake fund the Marylebone team, playing an All Indian eleven, scored 224 runs in the first innings (Mitchell 9L). All India had lost two wickets for 65 at the end of the first day's play. INTER-STATE GAME SOUTH AUSTRALIA 287 WESTERN AUSTRALIA 140 (Received March 5, 10.45 p.m.) ADELAIDE, March 5 An inter-State cricket match. South Australia v. Western Australia, was begun to-day in Adelaide. South Australia batted first for 287 runs (Whitingibon, 50; Parker, 46; Moyle, 45). Ditehturn took four wickets for 67 and Jones four for 81. Western Australia in the first innings made 140 (Lovelock, not out, 33). Wall took two wickets for 26 and Grimmett seven for 57.
