OVERTURES FROM ITALY ECONOMIC DISCUSSIONS SIGWOR MUSSOLINI'S PLAN ]sy Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright ROME, March 4 Ifc is officially announced that the Prime Minister of Italy, Signor Mussolini, lias arranged discussions with Dr. Dollfuss, Chancellor of Austria, and Dr. Goemboes, Premier of Hungary, from March 14 to 16. It is believed that Signor Mussolini is aiming at a plan for the economic restoration of the Danubian States, probably giving Austria and Hungary inn outlet to the sea through Trieste or perhaps Fium.e.
This may assist British trade, as it is understood that negotiations are in progress for the importation of British coal to Austria in exchange for timber.
