WAIKOUKOU BEATS [from our own correspondent] WAIMAUKU. Tuesday In a lawn tennis match played at Waikoukou, Waikoukou defeated Waimauku by nine 6ets to four. Details are -as follows, - Waimauku names being mentioned first : Men's singles: Macfarquhar beat Coglen, 9—5; Kingdon beat R. Kerr-Taylor, 9—6; Robinson beat T. Kerr-Taylor, 9—5; Kedclev beat Dakers, 9—7. Ladies' singles: M 153 Lennox lost to Miss Coglen. 2—7; Miss Canolost to Miss Mathieson, 2—7. Men's doubles: Macfarquhar and Kingdon lost to KerrTaylor and Coglen, B—9; Robinson and Kedgley lost to Kerr-Taylor and Dakers.C—9; Tate and Nairn lost to Wilson and Bowden 5—9.
