ARTILLERY CAMP
TRAINING AT ROTQRUA The aiimnal camp of the Ist Field Brigade, New Zealand Artillery, is bow established on the racecourse at Botorua. The eamu stas includes, ilajor G. B. Par kinson, camp commandant; Major C. T. Gillespie, chief instructor; and Lieutenant G. E. Weir, adjutant to the brigade. Captain A. C. Clayton is - attending the camp in fab capacity as genera! secretary to the Terrixorial Association. Northern Command. Major-Genera! Sir William SinclairBargess will inspect the camp to-day and fee will be accompanied by Colonel F. S3 rnon, Director of Artillery, and Colonel J. E. Doigao, Officer Consmanding the Northern Command. The Brigade Commander, Lieutenant-Colonel B, C. Mjlligan, -a-ill also be present. The 4th Field Batteiy Trent into camp, last Saturday and will remain until the end of this week. The battery, which was formerly the College BiSes, is commanded by Major E. Elliott/ who has with him the following officers:—Captain L. J. Slander, Lieutenant C. B. Menzies, Lieutenant B. F. Spragg, and Second Lientenar.it J. E: Henton (of the 3rd Field Battery). The medical officer is Captain J. "Ar W. Boberton, and the chaplain the Rev. J. Hiddlestone. A progressive .programme of training has been arranged and live shell practice will take place to-day. The remaining batteries of the brigade will follow in camp at weekly intervals. '
