WOMEN'S REST ROOM

PROJECT AT TAURANGA BOROUGH BUILDING PERMITS [FROM OfR OWN correspondent] TAURANGA, Thursday Preparation of plans for a women's rest room at the eastern end of Spring Street was authorised at a meeting of the Tauranga Borough Coupcil last evening. It was decided to seek the Local Government Loans Board's sanction to tho raising of a loan for tho project. Mr. L. I{. Wilkinson, of the staff of tho electricity department, tendered his resignation after 10 years' service. He is entering business ou his own -account. The council, in accepting the resignation, wished Mr. ilkinson success in his new venture.

The inspector reported that building permits to the value of £1325 were issued during tho past month.
