PATIENTS IN HOSPITAL

The condition of Mrs. T. Murphy, aged 69, of 93 Union Street, Freeman's Bay, who was admitted to the Auckland Hospital on Tuesday suffering from gas poisoning caused by an escape of gas from a pipe underneath the house she occupied, is no longer fairly serious, improvement having taken place. The ejects of poisoning were not seriously felt by her husband, who, however, suffered to some extent. The condition of Mrs. Emily Martin, aged 73, of S3 Bond Street, Archhill, who collapsed in the street near her homo on Tuesday, is still regarded as serious. It is thought her collapso was due to a heart\seizure. !
