POSITION OF CUSTODIAN [by telegraph—OWN correspondent] RUSSELL, Friday The position of custodian of the Waitangi Treaty House, for which there were many applications, has been filled by the appointment of Mr. Paul Studholme, of the Bay of Islands. Mr. Studholme is a member of the well-known Canterbury family of that name. With his wife and daughter he will occupy the quarters of the Treaty House provided for that purpose.
