Records of 3477 bats, ranging from Is 3d to £lO, on the day's race meeting, were found in tho possession of William McGhee, a clerk, in an office in Brisbane lately. In the PoliccT Court ho was finod £SO. Ho said ho was unemployed, and that betting was tho only; way he could earn an houest living. ' \ '
