GUY FAWKES DANCE

FUNCTION AT BAYSWATER The annual Guy Fawkes carnival dance organised by the members of the Takapuna Boating Club was held at the clubhouse at Bayswater on Saturday evening, tlie proceeds being in aid of general funds. The hall decorations were artistically carried out in the club colours of blue and gold aud downstairs, where supper was served, the tables were bright with bowls of early roses. Fireworks and favours were distributed to those at-

Wheeler, pastel blue georgette; Mrs. J. Insley, black georgette; Mrs. G. Cox, floral voile; Mrs. W. Skelton, floral organdie; Miss M. Williamson, blush rose satin; Miss Joy Verran, shell pink organdie; Miss J. Cummings, pink floral georgette; Miss C. Foster, black ring velvet; Miss I). Lewis, pink checked gingham; Miss E. West, black lace with velvet coatee.
