PROVINCIAL ASSOCIATION [by telegraph—OWN correspondent] CAMBRIDGE. Saturday The annual meeting of the Provincial Polo Association : was held last night, Mr. W. A. Fisher presiding. Delegates were present from Maiangi, To Awamutu, Matamata and Cambridge.
The report stated the past year was highly successful and the balance-sheet showed a credit balance of £lO 14s.
Officers were elected as follows:—Patron, Mr. James Taylor; president, Mr. "W. A. Kisher; vice-presidents, presidents of each affiliated club; secretary, Mr. W. L. Ranstead; treasurer, Mr. E. J. F.- Kennedy; honorary auditor. Mr. A. iR. Batchelor. It was decided to write to the New Zealand Polo Associition requesting that the annual affiliation fee of three guineas be reduced to one guinea. It was poir/ed out that the "Waikato was the only centre where polo was being played and it was unreasonable that clubs in the "Waika.to_ should maintain the New Zealand Association and derive no benefits. It was agreed that the annual tournament be held at Cambridge next March,
