PRICES FOR WOOL

FAVOURABLE PROSPECTS

BETTER WORLD OUTLOOK CORNER TURNED IN ENGLAND "I think the advance in wool prices will be maintained, but New Zealand growers must pay more attention to the classing and skirting of their wool," said Mr. Frank B. Clark, managing director of Francis Willey (N.Z.), Limited, of Christchurch, who returned by the Monterey yesterday from an extensive business tour overseas. Ho said bo found a general complaint of lack of attention by New Zealand growers to the classing and skirting of their wool. Mr. Clark, who visited Britain, the Continent and America, said prospects for world trade seemed very bright, and ho thought this would reflect to the benefit not only of New Zealand woolgrowers, but also the dairying industry.

There was no doubt the corner had been turned in England and almost all businesses were working full time. This was particularly true of the textile industry, some factories working day and night.
