A FAMOUS THIMBLE

A. very famous thimble was that given I,° the late Tsarina of Russia by the ladies of Russia on her wedding morning. It was fashioned in pure gold, and formed in the shape of a halfopened,lotus flower, with her name inscribed in tiny diamonds and other Srecious stones round the bottom. The "sarina took this thimblo with her jwhen she went into exile to Siberia, and since her tragic death it has never jbeen seen.
