INGENIOUS DRESS HINT
EVENING FROCKS TRANSFORMED The present fashions lend themselves admirably, not only to charming renovations, but to schemes for remodelling which may alter tho whole character of a frock or even convert an ordinary one into a more distinctive and becoming garment than the original. Thus a lace or chiffon evening frock which has become worn at the top or under the arms may be given a new lease of life and brought right up to mode by inserting a yoke and brief
puff sleeves of net. These may even be made as a separate little "fitmenti" If the colour of ;the frock cannot be matched exactly, choose a lighter or darker tone of net sufficiently different to make a distinct contrast. Thus white net sleeves in a black lace frock would be most effective. Similarly, lace sleeves could be inserted with equal success into a frock of velvet, crepe or silk.
