DEAR BOYS AND GIRLS,-
Be sure you read the announcement of the Christmas Competitions in our page to-day. Full details regarding rules, for the benefit of new members, next Saturday! A special word to our senior girls: I shall look forward greatly to seeing all of you who can come to spend the afternoon with me Saturday week, and I hope the weather will be kind and not beat and blow my wild garden to piecec before that time! It is looking lovely now, a riot of colour, but its fragile beauty will not withstand storm and wind like a more formal and wellkept garden! By the way, I hope a number of you will be able to come to Mangere this afternoon to see Jack, Mr. Parker's Clever Dog! The Passenger Transport Company's bus leaves Auckland at 1.35. Get off at Black Bridge, Mangere, and turn down Hall Avenue. The bus runs via Newmarket and Onehunga. Good wishes to you all, from Your friend,
