OVERSEAS LEAGUE

Dr. Buckley Turkington was the speaker afc an At Homo held in the Overseas League rooms yesterday afternoon. Miss Quayle, vice-president, presided. " Impressions Abroad " was the subject of the address, which dealt with Dr. Turkington's experiences abroad. The progress made in child-wel-fare work was specially mentioned. Pianoforte solos were given by Miss Joyce Hewitt, and afternoon tea was served in the adjoining room, where purple irises and Iceland poppies made attractive decorations.
