FIRST AID EXAMINATIONS [llV TELEGRAPH —OWN CORRESPONDENT] WAIHI, Friday "These examinations are two of the best, if not the very best, we have had this season, all the candidates passing with credit, and 11 out of the 15 passing first-class, having gained 80 per cent of the maximum marks," stated Mr. S. E. Langstone. manager of the Auckland centre of the St. John Ambulance Association, in forwarding the results of the recent first, aid examinations to the honorary secretary of the Waihi branch of the association. The results were as follows:—Male candidates —First-class passes: John F. C'arbutt, F. O. Calvert. Percv Bonnici, Jack Davies. Ivan D. King, Charles K. Kingsford, Leonard Wilton. Passed with credit: Gerald Bonnici, Thomas Fry, William W. Henderson, George Pennell. Female candidates—First-class passes: Frances Johnson, Elkie King, Amy E. Prescott, Edith V. Skinner.
