BOXING

KING'S SCHOOL TOURNAMENT A boxing tournament held at Kine'a School, Remuera, yesterday afternoon produced fighting of a. high standard and eeveral wellTCOjitested bouts. The tournament created much interest, and there was a largo attendance of parents and friends of the pupija. A special prize for the moat scientific boxer was awarded to J?. B. Bauer. Bradstreet beat R. E. Twinome. Middle-weight.—E. M. Eliott beat E. K. Abbott. Welter-weight.—W. E. T. Urquhart bent T. W. Smith. Light-weight.—B. A. Johns beat .T. W. Nutter, P. S. Poison beat R. .T. T. Ba lientine. D. H. Abbott beat, R. E. Moore, R. B. Bauer beat A. G. Johns. Mr. Bush, president of the Auckland Boxing Association, was referee.
