SCHOOL SHOW
SUCCESS AT SILVERDALE The first show in connection with the Siherdale school was held in the Silverdale Hall on Thursday, and was a great success, no fewer than "220 entries being received in the different classes. In addition to the competitive entries, there was an excellent display of handwork by the pupils, and an exhibition of folk dancing during the afternoon. , In the evening a dance was held. Winners of points prizes at the show were: —Flowers and vegetables: Pat Nieoi. Cookery: Deima M'Gifford and Elsie Brokenshire. Needlework: Molly MrGifford. First in all sections combined: Alec Grut.
