THEFT OF BICYCLE

THREE MONTHS IN PRISON The theft of a bicycle, valued at £1 10s, the property of some person or persons unknown, was admitted by Ernest Edward Cuthbcrtson Maxey, aged 52, labourer, in the Police Court yesterday. Detective-Sergeant O'Sullivan said that on October 26 accused found a bicycle on a vacant section in tho city and sold it for 10s. Ho had previously been convicted for dishonesty. Sentence of three months' imprisonment was passed by the magistrate, Mr. F. K. Hunt.
