PLUNKET SOCIETY FETE

A combined floral fete and gymkhana in aid of the.funds of the Plunket Society will be held nt the Kiierslie racecourse on Saturday, November 18. The varied programme which has been arranged includes competitions for the best decorated vehicles, decorated children's conveyances, and decorated parasols. Other items will include Hunt Club jumping, a cart-horse derby, amateur athletic sports, boxing, wrestling, a gymnastic displav and dancing on the lawn. Music will be provided by the Auckland Waterside Workers' Band.
