ACTIVITIES OF ORDERS INSTALLATION CEREMONIES ELLERSLIE ANNIVERSARY In connection with Iho celebration of the LMst anniversary of tlie Star of Ellerslie Lodge, No. TOO, 1.0.0. F., some interesting details of the founding of the lodge have been supplied by Bro. Brisbane, the present recording secretary. The institution, election and installation ceremonies worn all carried out on the same evening, August I.'?, 1912, and noant live hours' continuous work. The instituting officer was G.M. Bro. I!. C. fit ay, who was assisted by IXH.G.M., Bro. 11. Latimer, with Bro. Moiiow : y as organist and musical director. Twenty-one past grands and G.L. officers were present officially, and 21 representatives Irom sister lodges of the order. Twelve past grands filled the chairs lor the initiatory degree, 10 P.O. s lor the conferring of.the other degrees, and 10 G.L. officers and P.G.'s for the installation ceremony. Twelve candidates were initiated the first night, and the membership now stands at 60. All the officers taking part in the opening ceremony who still survive, received an invitation to tho "Coming of Ago" celebrations and five were ablo to be prosen t. I Tho f Fearnought Juvenile Temple, T. 0.0.1., met at I'ranklin Road on luosday evening. Sister Norah Begley acting as C.T., and presiding ovoT- a good attendance. An official visit was received from the G.S.J.W.. Bro. Pace. Six new members were initiated, the ceremony being well carried out! The C;.S.,!.\Y. congratulated the superintendents, Sister McLeish and Bro. T. Mock, upon the good work done, and also the members upon their attention and interest. F Hampton, P.1).p., gave an interesting report on the work of the medical instC tute. An enjoyable programmo of musical items was given, those contributing being Bros. Potter. Oliver Mnckay, Smart. Page. T. Wilson. F. Hampton. F. Wade and a duet bv Bros Lowe and Maekav. r ,I ! - Tutnnekai Bebekah Lodge, 1.0.0.1-., recently suffered a severe loss w.icn its lodgeroom, with all the lodge property, was destroyed by fire at rlclensvillc. This, however, did not present tno lodge from holding a very suc-ey-sfiil installation ceremony last week. I here was a very largo attendance of members and visitors. Bro. A. .T. Guy, deputy-grand master for New Zealand, was the installing officer and tho ceremony was impressively carried out. Sister N. Narbeg is the new noble grand and Sister M. At ford vice-grand. Among the grand lodge and district officers present wore Sisters Brnithwaite, Ifoiisen, Boles, Ncwbold, Bros Bloinley, Olson, Gloss (Hawke's Bay). The Mouthful Enterprise Temple, 1.0. G.T., met last week, Sister J. Wil:on acting as C.T., and presiding over a largo attendance of members. A welcome was extended to tho assistantsuperintendent, Sister Mrs. Henricksen, I alter her illness. Four new members ! were initiated.
