CAR AND TRUCK COLLIDE
EIGHT PERSONS UNHURT ACCIDENT NEAR HENDERSON Eight persons escaped serious injury when a service-car and a motor-truck were involved in a collision at the corner of Great North Road and Metr calf Road, Ranui, two miles north of Henderson, yesterday afternoon. Apart from bruises and a severe shaking th® four occupants of each vehicle were uninjured, although the car and truck were both severely damaged. The service-car, driven by Mr. Alexander Burr, of Huapai, was carrying three passengers and the truck, driven by Mr. Harry Rosier, road foreman of the Waitemata County Council, was carrying three relief workers, The front portion of the car was badly damaged and the cab and one side of the trittk suffered considerable damage.
