YESTERDAY'S SALES RETURN ON INVESTMENTS Following is a list of yesterday's transactions on New Zealand Stock Exchanges. In the second column is given the return, based on the last annual dividend, from investment at the quoted price. In calculating the return on shares in coni|ianios which pay their dividends outside Now Zealand the exchange rates have not been taken into consideration. The return 011 4 pur cent Government loans includes redemption. In the case of 3$ per cent loans, the retuiyi is for interest alono, and covers only the period for which the loans are tax-free. No return is given on local body securities and debentures in the meantime.

HUME PIPE COMPANY NAME CHANGE APPROVED Notification has beon received by the Auckland Stock Exchange that the change of name of Singapore Hume Pipe Company, Limited, to Hume Pipe (Far East), Limited, has been approved by the registrar of companies, Melbourne. On the lodgment at the Melbourne office of tho company of scrip in the name of tho old company, marked transfers in the new name will bo issued.
