PEREIRA DEFEATS OSWALD [by telegraph—press association] MASTERTON, Thursday In a wrestling contest this evening Pereira defeated Oswald in tho fifth round, when Oswald, in attempting a flying tackle, fell into tho orchestral stalls and was unable to continue. Oswald had gained a fall in the third round with a,body press and figure four head scissors, while in tho fourth Pereira evened with a body press following a series of flying tackles. It was a willing bout.
