LEVY PLAN REJECTED IMPORT CUTS NOW SOUGHT LONDON", Sept. 13 The Evening Standard says the Meat Reorganisation Commission has rejected a proposal for a penny in tho pound levy on all imports of meat, which would yield £9,000,000 a year, with which to ensure to British farmers a guaranteed price of 48s a cwt on cattle and 56s on sheep. Tho reason for the rejection was that tho plan would conflict with the Ottawa agreements.
