ART EXHIBITION

An exhibition of art work by children of Ottawa public schools is at present on show at the Auckland Education Board's offices in Wellesley Street East, The exhibition, which includes artistic formal designs, water-colour studies of plant life, lino-blocks and pottery, is on loan from the Canadian 'lrade Contt missioner, Mr. C. M. Croft. Although the highest age represented by the children is 13 years, the standard of the work generally is extremely high. Members of the Education Board inspected the exhibition yesterday and expressed admiration of the artistic level reached.
