FALSE PRETENCES

PROBATION FOR TWO YEARS Having pleaded, guilty last week to four charges of obtaining goods and cigarettes by moans of false pretences, Murray Sloan Russell, aged 25, clerk, appeared in the Police Court yesterday for sentence. The magistrate, Mr. W. R. McKean, said a report lie had received regarding accused-was nob favourable.
