CINNAMON BUNS

Take two and a-quarter breakfastcupfuls'flour, two teaspoonfuls baking powder, one teaspoonful salt, half cupful sugar, two tablespoonfuls butter, one egg, a little water, one teaspoonful ground cinnamon, four tablespoonfuls seedless raisins, and some melted butter.. Sieve the flour, baking powder, Halt and half the. sugar. Rub in the '"butter with the tips of .the fingers and moisten with beaten egg and enough cold water to form a dough. Roll out into an oblong and brush over with a little melted butter. Mix together the cinnamon, raisins and the rest of the sugar and sprinkle them over tho top. Roll up like a Swiss roll, and with a sharp knife cut in |in> slices. Place these on a?,greased baking sheet, cut side uppermost and close together. Bake the buns in a moderate oven from 30 to 35 minutes and sprinklo with fine BUgar while hot. ' l ' 'V' '-i\ r
