MEN NOW IN PRISON EFFORTS FOR RELEASE [by teTjEohaph-—riusss association J' WELLINGTON, Tuesday A meeting of 150 members of the Wellington District Relief Workers' Union decided to take steps for securing tho release of men recently sentenced to three months' imprisonment on charges of besetting. It was decided that a deputation should wait on tho Minister' of Justico for the purpose of having tho imprisoned men released, and to protest against their being put in gaol for three months. If satisfaction was not obtained from the Minister it was decided to inform him that an appeal would bo made to the GovernorGeneral.
