MARAMARUA HUNT
EXCELLENT SPORT ENJOYED The Maramarua Hunt Club met at tho kennels on Saturday and members were entertained to morning tea by Mrs. Steen. Thero was a largo number of followers and good sport was obtained. Hounds moved off into Mr. A. Mclnnes' property and a strong hare was put up v hich led tho hounds at a. fast pace across country to the creek, where it turned and mado for tho hills. After re crossing the road it .went to cover, but was put up again and was eventually killed after another t\yo miles. Another draw was niude find took tho hunt back to the hills, but as scent was not lying well no further kills were made. Followers were entertained at afternoon tea by tho Misses Mclnnes, when tho master, Mr. J. Pagan, thanked all responsible for the success of the day's sport. Walker, on a chestnut; Mr. A. Cole, on Ginger Mack; Mr. H. Henderson, on Taiha; Mr. E. Duffin, on Filemaker; Mr. A. Mclnnes, on Twinkle; Mr. W. Steen, on Tho Rogue: Mr. Constantino, on a black; Mr. R. Steen, on Jack; Miss E. Wiggins, on Renfield; Miss J. Wiggins, on Chanco; Miss £. Gibson, on a bay; Miss Brown, on Tui; Miss K.
