FILM CONTEST WINNERS
NEW ZEALAND AWARDS " Cabled advice was received yesterday" by Mr. F. Ansell, manager of the Hch gent Theatre, that Miss Joyce Nielsen, of Wellington, and Mr. Colin Taptejy of Dunedin, have won the New Zcik. land section of the "Search for Beauty", contest recently conducted throughout the Dominion by Paramount Pictured Miss Nielsen and Mr. Tapley will sailby the Monterey on September 23 forHollywood, wliero they will bo given parts in the film "Search for Beauty; in company with tho \vinne:s of \ in other parts of the world. For the;--. five weeks in which they will be engaged in making tho picture, they will, be paid a salary of £lO a week and will be accommodated at the RooseveltHotel. They will also be eligible for a special prize of 1000 dollars which will be given for tho' best performance ifiy ; the picture. _ The other finalists in the New Zealand section of the contest were_ Mtfp Esther Hose, of Christchurch, and CU C, Cfraike, of Hastings
