ARTILLERY COMMAND

FIRST FIELD BRIGADE Lieutenant-Colonel It. -G. Milligan lias been appointed to the command of the First Field Brigade, New Zealand Artillery, in the place of Lieu-tenant-Colonel W. F. Stihvell, formerly Mayor of Mount Albert, who has been posted to the reserve of officers following his recent appointment as a stipendiary magistrate. Major (temporary Lieutenant-Colonel) W. Mac-kail-Geddes lias succeeded LieutenantColonel Milligan in command of the Const Artillery Group. Major MackailGeddes served with distinction in the First Field Brigade during the war, and commanded the First Field Battery for some time after the war.
