THE AUCKLAND EXCHANGE ACTIVE TRADING RENEWED Active trading conditions wore renewed 011 the Auckland Stock Exchange yesterday, the mining group contributing largely to the total turnover. Accommodation movements took place in 'Nationals of New Zealand, while sellers of English, Scottish and Australians hardened, in spito of a weaker demand. Lower offers wero made for both Australasias and Commercials. Operations in the insurance group were confined largely to buyers, who advanced their limits for all Dominion issues. South British wero released unchanged at 70s, more being unprocurable at that price. Steady levels obtained in the general sections. Farmers' Co-operative Auctioneering,' B preference, were taken twice Id dearer at 15s. Auckland Gas, contributing, done unchanged at 17s, while Kauri Timbers lost 4d on sale at 12s 9d. A parcel of Colonial Sugars was secured 5s lower at £SB 7s 6d. In Consolidated Bricks unchanged business passed twice at "6s 3d. In" mining "VVaihi Junctions gained further ground. Under strong buying pressure offers were lifted Id to 4s and three parcels changed hands the same amount higher at 4s Id. Waihis were placed unchanged at following a reduction in quotations. There was a forward movement in Mount Lvells, which were accepted at 21s 9d after unchanged' sale at 21s Bd, and in Okaritos, which sold at 1-s and 1-s ~d, a gain of 4d. CLOSING QUOTATIONS
