STRICT CONTROL IN FUTURE SEQUEL TO SHEEP LOSSES [BY TELEGRAPH —PRESS ASSOCIATION*] CHRISTCHURCH. Friday As a consequence of tho recent slaughter of about 30 sheep by two Alsatian dogs in Hagley Park, the Domains Board, at its meeting today, decided that in future tho by-laws would be strictly enforced, and that all dogs found in the park, unless led on a leash, would be shot, and that no dogs, whether led or not, would bo permitted in the Botanical Gardens. It was also decided to ask local bodies to tighten tho supervision of dog registration.
