FINDING OF JURY LEGAL POINT INVOLVED [by telecAraph—press association] WELLINGTON. Wednesday Following |he jury's verdict assessing' damages at £B6l 7s to plaintiff, Richard Park, both counsel moved for judgment in a case brought in the Supreme Court to-day against Joseph Louis Tiehard, engineer, as the "result of an accident in Marine Parade. Napier, early in the evening of July 14 last year. The matter was reserved for legal argument. Plaintiff, who was crossing the road behind a bus from which he had jusv alighted, was knocked down by a motorcar travelling in the opposite direction. The jury fouud both parties negligent, but defendant s negligence was the effectivo cause of the accident.
