CAREER ON THE STAGE (Received July 27, 5.5 p.m.) LOS ANGELES, July 2G The death is reported of Sirs. Louiso Closser Halo, Now York and London stage actress, who recently scored a success in motion pictures. She was in her, Gist year.

The late Sirs. Louiso Halo was born in Chicago in October, 1572, and in her younger days was a student at tlio American Academy of Dramatic Arts, She made her first appearanco 011 the stage in Detroit, Michigan, in 1894 in tlio play "In Old Kentucky." She first appeared in London at Terry's Theatre, in April/, 1907, in " Mrs. Wiggs of the Cabbage Patch." On a. second visit to London in 1919 Mrs. Hale appeared at the Hayniarket Theatre in " Uncle Sam." After that sho had numerous engagements in American theatres. She wrote numerous plays, short stories and dramatic sketcnea.
