HIGH MASS

Sir,—Your correspondent "Christian Tolerance" evidently believes that the Roman Catholic Church is the only true Church of .Jesus Christ. While it cannot bo denied that our Lord told Peter "upon this rock I will build My Church," whether the Roman Catholic Church, or the Anglican Church, or the Methodist Church, or any other, is the only true Church, is a question which would cause much useless debato. Potcr himself, in one of his discourses, tells the only way to obtain membership of the true Church. "Repent ye therefore and bo converted, that your sins may be blotted out." Acts, iii., 19. From Peter's own words, it follows that, no matter what particular denomination or creed wo may belong to, wo may still be members of the true Church by repenting and being converted. E. Turner.
