UNUSUAL FIRE
BADIATOE AND BENZINE IGNITION OF £UMES OUTBREAK IN WORKROOM Tho igniting of benzine fumes by an electric radiator caused an outbreak ot fire about 10.45 last evening in a workroom above the shop of Jaqnelino Frock Company, Ot Queen .Street. The benzine was in an enamel basin on the floor in which some clothes were being cleaned. Its fumes travelled some feet until they came into contact with the red-hot element of the radiator, and the resulting flash ignited the contents of the basin. The flames rose to a height of three or four feet, but the firo brigado was on the scene in a few minutes, ami the blaze was put out with a portable extinguisher before' any appreciable damage was done to the interior oi the room. A window was cracked by the heat. The building is held on lease by iUr. W. H. Horslcy, chemist, whose shop is next door.
