TRADE LEAGUE'S PLAN OVERSEAS COMMUNITIES ORGANISATION SUGGESTED By Telegraph—Press Association-Copyright (Received July 24, 5.45 p.m.) LONDON. July 24 Lords Lamington, Melchett and Biddell and Sir Stanley Machin nro among the signatories to a manifesto issued by the Empire Trade League urging tho establishment of local organisations in provincial towns to organise overseas community settlements in well situated, compact, areas whore intense activities could bo speedily organised. Tho manifesto says huge colonising adventures under chartered companies and other auspices can be regarded only as a long-range plan for the future.
