MORRINSVILLE TO POKENO START IN TAHUNA DISTRICT [from our o"wn correspondent] TE AROHA, Monday Advice has been received by the chnirmnn of the Piako County Council from the district surveyor, Mr. McMorrin, that the survey of the block of Crown land in the Talmna district is to be proceeded with at an early date, and that it is the intention of the department to survey as far as the boundary of the block held by Kereone Estatp, Limited. ]f satisfactory arrangements can lie made the survey will bo carried through to Morrinsville. The council lias had this matter in hand for a considerable time, and if the scheme is completed it will shorten the distance between Pokcno and Morrinsville considerablv.
