A I'll IMIKS.S ASSOCIATION ] - CHIUSTCTIUnCII, Monday The most representative gathering of Christchurch business and professional men held for some years decided at a meeting Ibis evening to give full support to the National Reconstruction Association, a branch of which was recently formed in the city following an address by Mr. .). D. McMillan, through whose work the association was formed in Auckland. Speakers emphasised the need for action to revive investment in industry, expressing the opinion that the country could not afford to permit the economic drift to continue within the Dominion in the hope that help would come from overseas.
