WORK OF INTERPRETER MAGISTRATE NOT SATISFIED CHARGES AGAINST CHINESE [I»V TELEGRAPH —NtESS ASSOCIATION] CHRISTCHURCII, Monday Hearing of charges, nearly all under tho Gaming Act, against 28 Chinese took an unusual turn in tho Magistrate's Court this afternoon when Mr. li. 1). Mosley, S.M. expressed dissatisfaction with tho interpreter and adjourned the hearing until to-morrow to enable another interpreter to bo obtained. "I am not satisfied with the interpreter,' 1 lie said. "1 am going to have a subpoena issued for another. All I want is the truth and I am not satisfied that 1 have got it so far."
