DEVELOPING NEW AREAS DRASTIC ORDINANCE British Wireless RUGBY, July 15 The Colonial Secretary, Sir Philip CunlifFc-Lister, referring to tho Kenya gold discoveries, in the course of tho Colonial Office debate in the House of Commons yesterday, said that the new areas were being developed. An ordinance of a drastic kind, which tho mining community welcomed, ensured that undesirable persons would not prospect in certain rcsorves. Liberal compensation for temporary disturbance was being paid to the natives.
