INFIRMARY CONCERT

The nurses at the Infirmary recently formed a concert party, and gave their first performance on Saturday to tho patients. The ball was filled in every part and a largo number of visitors attended. A very good programme was given, and was greatly enjoyed. The items consisted of choruses, songs, duets, pianoforto solos, a poi dance, recitations, and a one-act play. Those taking part were Nurses Sly, Whelan, Fryer-Raisher, Coghlan, Blake, Clark, Pickard, Ivors, Morrison, Watts, Falknor, Hoskin, Trimble, Paul, McLeod, Simpson, Henderson, Miss Matthews and M'ss Trimble. Nurse Simpson acted as accompanist. Mr. H. Eastgate was stage manager. Mr. W. Wallace, chairman of tho Hospital Hoard was among those present, also Matron Budd, of the Infirmary. Mr. Wallace congratulated the nurses on their splendid achievement and hoped they would carry on the good work.
