YESTERDAY'S SALES RETURN ON INVESTMENTS following is a list of yesterday's transactions on New Zealand Stock Exchanges' In the second column is given the return, based on the last annual dividend, from investment at tho quoted price. In calculating the return on shares in companies which pay their dividends outside New Zealand the exchange rates have not been taken into consideration. Tho return on 4 per cent Government loans includes redemption. In the case of 3J per cent loans cho return is for interest alone, and covers only tho period for which the loans aro tax-free. The Zealand.ia Packing Company, Limited, advises that it has completed at Whangaroa the first Unit of its factory for the freezing, bottling and canning of fish for tho New Zealand and export markets.
