GREAT RUGBY PLAYER
NEPIA STILL IN FORM FINE'GAME FOR EAST COAST [by TELEGRAriT —OWN correspondent] GISDOHNE, Monday According to members of the Poverty Bay representative team, the deciding feature of the Barry Cup match at Bviator ia, won by East Coast by 12 points to 7, was tho brilliance of George Ncpia, tho former New Zealand representative fullback, who gavo a display rivalling the best seen from him in tho days of his prime. Nepia was frequently the sole defender of the coast goal-lino when good dribbling rushes on the part of the Poverty Bay forwards had carried tho ball through tho opposing team. Time after time ho went through and emerged upfield with tho ball in his hands, kicking for the lino with marvellous accuracy and meeting the Poverty Bay attacks with a skill and polish worthy of his great fame as a fullback.
